Herzliya beaches

The Herzliya coastline is one the most beautiful and well-kept coastlines in Israel!

A magnificent promenade stretches along the coast, with hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions, shopping centers and a beautiful marina.

These are the 8 official bathing beaches (North to south):

Acadia North

Acadia Center

Acadia South

  • HaKochavim (South)

  • Nifrad (Gender-Segregated beach suitable for orthodox Jews)


Lifeguards Service Hours:

April 1st-May 31st:
Sunday-Thursday (including holiday eve) 07.00-16.00, Friday, Saturday and holidays 07.00-17.00.

June 1st-19th:
Sunday-Thursday 07.00-17.00. Friday, Saturday and holidays: 07.00-17.00.

June 20th- August 31st:
Every day 07.00-19.00.

September 1st- October 28th: 
Sunday-Thursday (including holiday eve) 07.00-16.00, Friday, Saturday and holidays 07.00-17.00.

From July 1st of every year, the gender-segregated beach will be available:
Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday – Women only
Monday, Wednesday, Friday – Men only
Daily opening hours: 08.30 – until lifeguard services end.

Rules and Guidelines for Visitors:

Please note: 

  • Dogs (with a muzzle) are only allowed at Nof-Yam beach, according to municipal laws.
  • Setting up tents on the beach is prohibited.
  • Use of glass bottles or glass hookahs is prohibited.
  • Gas cylinders are prohibited.
  • Use of BBQ is prohibited.
  • Bonfires are prohibited.
  • Use of generators is prohibited.
  • Use of entertainment boxes is prohibited.
  • Parties are prohibited.

Dog Owners

In accordance with municipal by-laws, dogs are permitted entrance to all bathing beaches, provided they are leashed, muzzled, and kept with their owners at all times.

Herzliya Marina

Since 1995, Herzliya Marina has been designated as an international port, and currently approximately 600 cruise ships dock there on a regular basis. Herzliya Marina is considered the largest, most technologically advanced and most unique marina in the Mediterranean basin.Herzliya Municipal Tourism Development Company manages and operates the marina.
National and international sailing competitions are held throughout the year, and the marina management hosts an array of international fleets, annually attracting tens of thousands of visitors from Israel and around the world.
